Great way to get your A$$ shot and into some major TROUBLE! Nice thought for a practice gun but other than that....who ever wheres something like that is probably not allowed to have or carry legally. Oh wait...a bad guy...wait I just got mugged and robbed...maybe I WILL THROW MY PLASTIC TOY AT HIM!
Amazing what some prospective "inventors/entreprenuers" will think of. They have an idea, and think it through half-way. If concealed, it's a moot point. So that leaves open carry, which this company addresses on their webpage. I could see children still getting their hands on these and being shot by police because they look real. I see no advantage here. Waste of money.

What I can't wrap my head around is if you feel the need to buy something like that, why wouldn't you just carry a gun? You obviously know at some level that you would be safer. That hunk of plastic isn't going to help you much should the need arise.

It wouldn't even be good for that. It's one solid molded piece of plastic. You can't remove the "gun" from the holster.
WHY? What possible use could this have except maybe in a training scenario?
You could just carry a squirt gun...

One could use those blue guns used as displays in gun stores, too.
Well, blue guns may not get your shot as fast if the bad guy can see the color.
I'm not sure why, but I was thinking about this thread today.
What about the law enforcement implications? Say your hunk of plastic prints and the cops show up for a "man with a gun" call. How well is that going to sit with them?
Along the same lines, say you get pulled over. After running your plate, they are usually notified if you have a valid CCL. Without said notification, they approach your car. While reaching for your wallet the officer notices the plastic grip on your hip. Next thing you know you are face down on the pavement being cuffed.
Bad news all the way around.
