Finally, a leader of a nation who thinks self-defense is a legitimate reason to own a gun! What a concept! Give that man a testicle! I wonder if the idea will ever catch on in the Good Ol' USA?
A sample of the lunacy of current Canadian law: “At 3 a.m., if someone is breaking into your house, you might think that your life is in danger. But the reality is that if it’s an unarmed intruder and you blow them away, you’re going to be arrested for murder.”
Wonderful set of laws, eh? If you see an asshole in your house at 3:00AM coming towards you, are you going to ask him if he's unarmed? If you can pat him down? And if he says, "I am unarmed," then what? Do you ask them if they'd like a cup of tea or to play a game of chess? When did lawmakers become lunatics? When did preserving my life become secondary to preserving the life and safety of an asshole breaking into my house at 3:00AM?
