Thumbs up
I just finished my second ccw class, now I have to get my app in!
I'm hoping to take classes by the end of this year.
We do a good job, hope to see you at our place Brian.
I'd look into it right now though! They were all doing up for this year super quick! But it is a great class, and Rob keeps everything easy more interesting than I initially thought it was going to be. I'm planning on sitting in on the class again in a couple of months if I can to check my progress/my friend wants to go as well

Mike even though you guys are about an hour from where I live, when I'm ready to take classes I'm sure it will be at RDA. I've heard from many people that Steve is a great teacher.
Steve is a great teacher, so is Rob for the second class. Both did really good in communicating and keeping everything interesting. As I'm sure you've heard. Haha
On several occasions I've heard Steve speak on many issues. I'm looking forward to hearing Rob speak, and I'm really looking forward to taking the classes soon as soon as I can.

I've heard great comments both on the forum and elsewhere about both Steve and Rob. I understand they have the patience to help the beginner and put up with the veteran.
Just because I'm excited, I would like to let you know I finally got my permit in yesterday! It came in sooner than I expected! And of course much thanks to RDA for helping with the whole experience and making it a good time!
Congrats on getting your permit. I will hopefully get mine soon. Dave did a great job filling my application out the beginning of December. RDA has quality people.
If you did the paperwork at the end of December I would think you should have it by now. They were averaging 5-6 weeks...
I have had mine for about 19 years. I have had my Utah for 1 year. It took 6 weeks for my Utah and about 4 weeks for my Oregon.

I have a friend who did his in November and it took 3 months almost to the date. I am hoping in the next two weeks.
They take longer for sure if you don't do finger prints.. But I'm excited. Now just figuring out the little details of finishing incorporating it into the rest of my life!

Congrats... I'm in WI, so after the class, sent in the application, and had my CCW permit 5 days from the day I dropped it in the mail, so looks like the permit went out within 24 or 48 hours of them receiving it. Now THAT is efficient for anyone, let alone a Govt. entity! lol
