Thumbs Up
Anyone else have a hi point gun? I know there are haters out there but they have a place in the food chain. They r great for bug out bag guns or camping/gear bags or tool boxes. For 150 bucks, if it gets broken not a big loss

I have the JCP 40 it sits in my bug out bag Thumbs up

I did have a 9mm HighPoint. I liked it, nothing wrong with and if it gets marked up no big deal. Can't beat the price, warranty is great, new magazines are dirt cheap.

So, random things start falling apart 1 month after the warranty expires? Tongue

I knew a customer that had a malfunction in his AR and using his Hi-point as a hammer. I actually wouldnt mind owning a few for when I go out shooting with my friends....they are not the more careful guys. I have had a friend break a solder weld on my shotgun barrel. So at the price, its well worth it.

Eric, sounds like you need to educate your friends... How did they break the weld? Hopefully you were fix it, without getting a new barrel.

I went shooting at Bass Pro and used the "tube". If you use the tube, you have to use a rest. My friend somehow (still have no idea) hit the weld for the piece on the barrel that hold its onto the magazine tube. The shotgun was a Stevens 350. I sent it to Savage to have repair and they sent it back. I actually was happy because before it was a 6 shot and now its an 8 shot. I never told my friend this Big Grin

Savage has a reputation for great customer service. Usually no questions asked.
