I don't mind Glocks, particularly the 19, but they never fit my hand quite as well as my Ruger or several other handguns I've held. My dad's 26 is a workhorse though, and I wouldn't mind giving the 42 a look if I can ever find one in stock =D

Yep, those pesky 42's sure are tough to come by! I'm waiting for the inevitable single stack 9mm to be released though.

Per RJDSRT, only the company with all their gadgets make single stacks in more than 380. YEAH FOR THE XDs.

Take a look at the Ruger LC9S. A decent single stack, striker fired 9mm, with a really great trigger (IMHO). Smile Only draw back I have with it is the takedown pin. What were they thinking? However, it is $150 less than a Glock.

My brothers girlfriend has the lc9, and I (and they) hate it.. But I heard the lc9s is really pretty darn good with the striker fired set up. Saw I pretty good review of it on YouTube by kickok45. He has some pretty cool videos

Yeah, the LC9 is not a gun I would want. Double, action, awful trigger, and for some reason a lot of kick. But so far I like the LC9S. Ruger can discontinue the rest of the LC9 line now. I can't see anyone who tries a LC9S buying a LC9.

If they only had the LC9, I'd own the Glock now. I might still buy a Glock too, but I like the LC9S a lot so far.

I never looked past that video of it, I watched mostly because of my brother. and I was looking heavily into getting a Glock, but now that I've had my hands on the FNX-9 I hear that's a nice gun as well. so I'm kinda leaning towards that right now.

Nice thing about Glocks though is you can buy virtually anything for them. The Honda Civic of the handgun world. They haven't faded off my radar though that's for sure.

I think he just insulted Glock owners in a way! LOL Glock's seem to be a fine gun, I just don't like the feel or the grip. I really like the FNS-9 and Ruger LC9S, both have really good triggers. I might still end up owning a Glock 19. I just don't see the allure and godlike following. I know some of my friends glock's are ammo finicky. They seem reliable, but no more than other guns I have seen. They are however popular, and there are lots of options for them. A cult like following if you will.
