Yes, I have a Mosquito. Took it to the range on Sunday with some of my prized CCI that I've had for some time and the crap Reminton bulk ammo.

1. CCI worked fine; no surprise there.
2. Remington: misfired every other shot; a quick double action or hammer pull back and reshoot got the bang....

Curious, what's the particulars as to why "cheap and dirty" ammo would result in a misfire. The hammer hits and it takes a second whack to fire the round? Must be really cheap!

I love the Mosquito, but it's a real be-atch to work with.

Mosquitos are finicky. They don't work well with bulk Remington. I've also seen issues with CCI mini-mags. Mine loves the purple Federal 550 packs.

I have a browning buck mark, and it hates the cheap Remington.

The mosquitoes are comfy in design and weight but man are those things picky. A good alternative is the SR22 from Ruger, as well as the Buckmark like Mike mentioned.
