Stopped by Red Dot today and enjoyed looking around the shop. Before I left I picked up 2 boxes of Red Dot labeled 9mm target ammo. Anyone ever shoot these before? Lately been shooting Blazer Brass with real good results but figured I would give these a try.

I've used RDA, .308, .223, .45ACP and I have yet to have an issue, well over 1000 rds. I am new to 9mm, so I have not tried the RDA ammo yet. But the rest of their re-manufactured ammo has been top notch.

Well that's great to hear. They are just a bit cheaper then the Blazer Brass I have been buying so hope they work just as well!

They are cheaper, but notice how clean they burn. Lot less burnt powder residue.

The RDA ammo seems as clean burning or cleaner than many new factory brands IMHO.

It's about all I use and have for over a year, I think. No issues at all.

That's great to hear. Went to GAT yesterday to shoot but ended up running late and didn't have enough time before work but will try them out next week! Any additional discounts for large bulk purchases too?

Yes, there are discount by the case for all but 9mm. $1 off a box when getting a case of 20 boxes.

I haven't bought any ammo in months now...haven't had time to get to the range. Is there still a 6 box limit?

Nope, Chuck left in the spring. We are out of 9mm 115, but have lots of 124. Should have 115 early in the week.

Well that sucks...I liked Chuck. Sorry to hear he left. I'm assuming the 124 is still a little more expensive than the 115 so I might wait a week then. I might stop in just to see what the prices are nowadays anyway.

What all do you guys have for self defense ammo? Last time I was there you guys had some Golden Sabre but that was about it. I'm looking for 9mm, prefer +P 124 gr. but just curious in general.

Just remembered I could just look it up myself. lol

Any chance you guys could start carrying some Speer Gold Dot?

Not sure. I'm not there right now. We have more than one kind now. We also have some guard dogs.
