I take my Maxpedition Falcon II backpack with me everywhere. The bags are well made and the company stands behind their warranty. My pack is always overloaded with stuff and I tend to just carry it on one shoulder when I'm not walking around. After about two years I noticed a problem with the strap I use most. The stitching ripped where the shoulder strap attaches to the bag and it was almost torn loose.
I wasn’t sure if Maxpedition would cover the repair under warranty. I carry so much weight in the bag every day that I didn’t really consider it a manufacture’s defect. I sent the backpack in and was pleasantly surprised after they repaired the strap and returned it to me without question. Maxpedition bags are pricey but I think it’s worth the cost.
