This is what happens when you elect democRats. SB 64 will make it a Class 5 Felony in Virgina to provide any kind of firearm training. And worse it bans all meetings of paramilitary groups for the purpose of training with or without firearms. Do these socialisits even bother to read the Bill of Rights?
"An unarmed man can only flee from evil, and evil is not overcome by fleeing from it." -Col. Jeff Cooper

They have some strong language in that bill. Personally I do not think it will pass. Still a LOT of RED in that State. But now that you have a Dem Female in office....its all up in the air. Sounds to close to Oregon's Politics to me. ...

1. Teaches or demonstrates to any other person the use, application, or making of any firearm, explosive, or incendiary device, or technique capable of causing injury or death to persons, knowing or having reason to know or intending that such training will be employed for use in, or in furtherance of, a civil disorder; or
2. Assembles with one or more persons for the purpose of training with, practicing with, or being instructed in the use of any firearm, explosive, or incendiary device, or technique capable of causing injury or death to persons, intending to employ such training for use in, or in furtherance of, a civil disorder; or
3. Assembles with one or more persons with the intent of intimidating any person or group of persons by drilling, parading, or marching with any firearm, any explosive or incendiary device, or any components or combination thereof.

Pretty ironic this happening in Virginia. Washington, Lee (all the Lees), and Jefferson would be rolling in their graves.
One of Robert E. Lee's reasons for turning down Lincoln was basically, "I am a Virginian, and this is what we do"
Jefferson's famous "Blood of tyrants" quote was from a letter he wrote regarding Shay's rebellion.
He basically said, "It doesn't matter even if the people are wrong, every 20 years someone should rise up and rebel just to remind the government we will. We can tell them why they are wrong later."

Virginia Democrats were forced to abandon part of their extremist gun control agenda, the confiscations of semi-automatic firearms from law abiding citizens, on Monday as opposition to their anti-Second Amendment agenda has exploded across the state.
“We’ve been down this compromise road and their version of a compromise is they never give up anything,” Van Cleave said. “We are expected to give up something every time and we’re not doing it anymore. I think gun owners are tired of this and they’re gonna stand up and fight this stuff.”

The law is the law': Virginia Democrats float prosecution and National Guard deployment if police don't enforce gun control
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/...un-control
Sounds like some Dems getting real nervous, as they should!

There is precedent for this. The federal government did that before, sending in the military to confiscate the guns that local authorities would not.
In fact, there is a name for that event - Lexington and Concord.
