The governor of the Virgin Islands has decided he can over rule the Constitution's Second Amendment, by ordering the seizure of all firearms to combat the coming hurricane. I hope President Trump orders this fellows arrest, and charges him with willfully violating the civil rights of citizens, and that those citizens use armed force to resist his illegal order.

He was on Tucker Carlson's show on Fox News last night and said that his order has been misconstrued. He said that the order he signed gives the commander of the VI National Guard the authority to go into a store and buy any supplies they need off the shelf, including firearms, ammunition, food, water, etc. He said that any such confiscation against private citizens is against VI law, as well as the US Constitution.

Those were my thoughts on it, as well. He sounded like a typical politician when something blows up in their face. It's not like the VI is gun friendly to begin with.
