Over the last few weeks I have noticed ammo prices are declining and there seems to be an uptick in supply? Does mean that people are thinking that Trump will win? I have to think that if they thought Hillary was going to win, stuff would be flying off the shelves...

Ammo prices and supply seem to be stabilizing but have you tried buying AR parts lately? Finding an Anderson lower, from 80% to a completely assembled, is like pulling a croc's teeth. I've been looking because my son wants to build an AR pistol. I did score a complete upper for it including a nitrided 10.5" 1:7 barrel and bcg with a free floated keymod handguard for under $300 with free shipping. Most places want well over $300 for a so-called complete upper that doesn't have a bcg or charging handle. That's where the scare is this election.

Interesting comment. I have noticed plenty of AR's and AK's at every price level available. But parts are scarce. I want to add a couple handguns yet this year. I am adding to my ammo supply. I have noticed Russian 7.62x54R spam cans cannot be found right now, but there is plenty of everything else.

Gun stores all seem very busy. It may be a good time to look at another Shotgun too. I did notice a Mossberg 590 Marine in the used gun section on here, but condition is only 'Fair'... I'll have to take a look at that. It may be the time to load up on magazines.

In my neck of the woods we still have plenty of items available. Aero still has stripped lowers for sale although a tad more than Andersons. http://aeroprecisionusa.com/ar15-strippe...black.html or http://www.surplusammo.com/aero-precisio...-receiver/

I figured that as this election gets closer and people get a little more concerned about who will win, that parts would get a little more scarce. Thats why I bought, as well as my brother, a few extra items before all of this came down to the wire.

I just went with a complete lower built off an Anderson that someone was selling locally for $140. The guy was going to put it on GB but we got talking at the LGS and he let me take it off his hands. He was going to build a pistol a few months ago but changed his mind. He had bought a few receivers when they were cheap and flooding the market. I figure that with the parts assembly $140 wasn't too bad.
