While I prefer a 3.5 to 4# two stage on my long barrel AR's I prefer 3.5 to 4#,but 5 will work, on my shorter barrel AR's. My brother refuses to pay for dropins' and spends the time to polish and clean up stock triggers. I have shot many of his rifles and although his turn out clean, I will stick with my dropins'. I still have 3 stock triggers left to replace but the priority over other parts is lower. I have yet to rebuild my AK and with all the newer furniture at Magpul and other places, it gets harder to make up my mind.
