a Couple of problems...
1st, why was there LIVE ammunition being used in malfunction removal training away from a range?
2nd, The student violated a primary rule of safety, Didn't keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.
3rd, Although the article didn't say so, probably had their finger on the trigger.
