I am not so sure about that.

The world loves to declare hate for America, criticize our leaders, scorn our military, and mock our tourists.

But when the SHTF, they know we will send our money and our troops, and when things are going well we send our money and our tourists.

They want all three.

In the words of Col. Jessup, a.k.a. Jack Nicholson, "deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that wall, you need me on that wall."

Just like children hate parental authority, but hate not having more.

Right now they love to mock Trump, because he is mockable, but they hope more than we do that he will do what he is saying. They just won't say it out loud.

Yikes! The commie-pinko's? I knew they were around but there are current congressmen posing as Republicans and Democrats listed on their website, at least used to be? That's scary. I wonder how many libertarians are Commies?

I've voted Libertarian for over 20 years. I don't agree 100% with the party platform. I'm just socially liberal and fiscally conservative. I believe the real, day to day power should belong to the States and not the Federal government.

The deck is stacked against 3rd parties. What's the harm with including at least the top three parties in televised debates? Nothing, unless you just want to silence another voice. I will continue to vote Libertarian even though I may never see a 3rd party President in my life. I'll do for no other reason than to protest the monopoly of power held by the two parties that forgot who they should be serving.

A Christian who chooses to teach his children that homosexuality is a sin (which of course, the Bible does say) is having his rights infringed by society approving gay marriage through licensing and thus "teaching" the children something else. A gay couple who chooses to marry is having their rights infringed by being asked to go to a different baker for their cake when that baker says it is against his beliefs.

Both are offensive to the other, but neither is truly hurting the other. A true libertarian would side with both of them. Let the criteria be genuine damage, and not offense...

I agree.

I'll be voting for the Libertarian for US Senate. I can't vote for democrat Tammy Duckworth or democrat Mark Kirk. I find that between the two socialists, both are anti-liberty, big government, tax and spend liberals. So I will be voting Libertarian, at least the 'L" next to that name will mean they support the Constitution.

I certainly respect peoples convictions and opinions on voting. I am also convinced that a vote for a third party, whoever it is, is a vote for democrats. There will never be a perfect candidate that we all agree on 100%. If the local dog catcher is the Republican nominee, they will get my vote. As the saying goes, "don't cut off your nose to spite your face"

I generally agree. But what do you do with a RHINO, who votes consistently democrat. Mark Kirk's voting record is against the Second Amendment, and matches our other idiot democrat Senator 'dirty' ***** Durbin. I won't vote for Tammy, but if I want a democrat, at least let me have one that does not call themselves a Republican, and vote consistently democrat. As for a difference, I see none.

You're right Believein308, Kirk does not give me any constitutional warm fuzzies. But at present Republicans do have control over both houses (not that you would necessarily know it), we can't give that up since we would know it if Democrats were in charge again. So many times its a case of hold your nose and vote for the bigger picture.

I have now given this a lot of thought. I will be voting for the Libertarian Senate candidate. Kirk is probably less a Republican than is Duckworth. Still I cannot vote for either of them. So I will vote for the Libertarian candidate for Senate.

This is not anything like crooked Hillary or the Donald. Mr. Trump talks like a real Republican. His Judges list impressed me. His stated views (currently) on the Second Amendment are great. I remember another democrat who saw the light in Reagan. He has been the best president in my lifetime. So while my guy, Rand Paul failed to win, I will do everything to support Mr. Trump and keep crroked Hillary out of the White House.

Hillary for Prison 2016!

The only concern with the senate issue is it affects who the majority leader is, and that affects what gets brought up. If we have a house that will pass repealing Obamacare, a president who will sign, and a senate that would pass it, all that does us no good if the majority leader won't let it come to the senate floor.

That's how we lost the suppressor law, Cullerton sat on it.

If I had to choose between Duckworth and the Kirk (to very liberal democrats) I'd have to go with Duckworth, she is actually a little more Conservative between the two. But It is like deciding between Lenin and Marx. So I will vote Libertarian. I don't think Kirk has a snowballs change in hell, as everyone I have talked to hates him. He will be crushed anyway.

A good video that is worth watching. I'm still leaning toward Gary Johnson, unless by some miracle Trump begins to make sense and talk normal.

I do agree with most Libertarian positions. I just believe this election is a BINARY choice. Either Hillary or Trump will win. The others have zero chance. I feel I must do everything possible to keep Hillary out of the White House. If you value the Bill of Rights, all of them, not just the Second, you MUST do everything you can to keep her out of the White House, and that means you MUST hold your nose and vote for Mr. Trump. If Hillary is elected, those that didn't Vote for Mr. Trump will OWN all her policies.

Believein308, you are totally correct. A third party vote is a waste of time. Folks the choice is Hilary or Trump.....is there really any doubt who should get the vote?

Problem is there is a lot of doubt out there. I mean look at Bush Senior (yes I know he is a globalist and he is about ready to kick the bucket) He loves the Hillary cause he hates the Trump. I mean just because Jeb is a MORON!

Well, I am voting for the Libertarian for the US Senate in Illinois. I mean we have two democrats Duckworth and Kirk to choose from. Both liberal and anti-Second Amendment. Both radical. In normal circumstances I would vote for Kirk, but there is no difference between them. If this were true at the Presidencial level, I'd be voting Libertarian for President too, but it is not. Trump is far different that the radical socialist Hillary is.

Please do not consider voting for anyone other than Trump, and do not vote for Kirk.

There is one reason to vote Kirk. It will help keep Harry Reid from being Majority Leader. If the Republicans did not control the senate this year we would have a socialist in Scalia's place as we speak. We might have been already facing a major loss of our 2nd rights.
