HI all,

I chose March 19th as a day I'll be heading up to McMillers for some rifle/pistol shooting. If anyone wants to meet, let me know.

This will be my first trip up there. Hopefully, my AR is ready and going by then.

Thanks.

I was at McMillers on Saturday, it was packed. I don't think I have ever seen it that busy. It must be pent up Cabin Fever. Either that or a lot of people are expecting some heavy duty action, and practicing.

I'm still planning on going. Probably get there when they open. Let me know if you can make it and perhaps know how to spot each other in the crowd.

Thanks.

HI....I'll be leaving my place around 7:50AM to get to McMillers at 9AM tomorrow. If anyone is still going and want to meet up, let me know and I can share my cell number.

I'll bring my rifles, and also want to try and sight in my scope on the AR. I may plink with my 22LR pistol, too if time permits.

Well, I had my first outing at McMillers on Saturday. Really nice! I did only the 100 yard range. The ROs were great, too.

I had my AR-15 with cheap scope I put on it; I think I'll be returning it. Optics stink! I was able to walk it over to zero, though, so at least it was functional, but I couldn't get it to be very sharp.

Yesterday I picked up a Vortex scope at Bass Pro and will mount that instead. I got a quick detach mount as well, as I may want to use iron sites at some point.

After having the AR-15 serviced at ATI due to a bad gas tube mount, it worked flawlessly!

I also brought my Ruger American in .243 with a Nikon scope. This was already zero'd in and was a pleasure to shoot; dead nuts on!

I walked over to the plinking range to check it out. Not impressed, and smaller that expected; only a few slots to choose from. They were full up, so I'll try that later.

I've set up another date for April 16th to go again for a few hours. I'll sight in my new Vortex, maybe bring my Mosin as well.

Anyone interested in coming please let me know.

FYI...anyone wanting to go up to McMillers on Saturday the 16th, and want company, let me know. I plan on getting up there shortly after they open and stay a few hours. I'll be bringing my Mosin and AR-15 to adjust my new Vortex scope. Probably the 200/300 yard range; not sure yet.
