"Let's be real," King wrote. "The assault weapons banned by Maryland's [law] are exceptionally lethal weapons of war."

Judge King wouldn't know "real" if it fell out of the sky, landed on his face, and started to wiggle.

Name me one military personnel going into battle would lay aside his/her issued rifle, walk into Red Dot (no offense Smile ), pick up an AR-15 off the wall and say, "I'll take this instead".

"Real" indeed. Confused

"Fundamental Right"

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

The end.

EXACTLY...

Let' see I want to trade a real weapon of war (Full automatic, military grade parts) for a civilian semi-automatic, that may contain some military grade parts? Is this judge utterly clueless? You could get a full blown semi-automatic high grade Colt, that might match military grade, but it will not full auto...

I'd rather have one with FNH parts but your point is valid. ;)
