At what point do you buy a second gun of the same type?

Recently I took a good hard look at a Ruger American. It has some pluses and minuses. But a buddy asked me a good question. He said, "You already have a FNS 9mm and love it, why not buy a second one instead. This now has me thinging about that...

Simple answer for me...You can never have enough! I own 1-9m, 2-380, 2-40's, 3-45's and so on and so on. I lookink at one of HK's 9m, 45 and 40 along with 3 more glocks of 45 and 9m.
