We've all seen companies that make grip tape that they say is custom made for firearms. Did you know that there is a cheaper alternative that works just as well? It's baseball bat tape. Yes, friends, I said baseball bat tape. You can get a roll of it from your local D-i-c-k's*, or other sporting goods, store for about $4 and can wrap the grips of 3-4 rifles or shotguns with it. I use it on my C39v1, as well as my son's SKS, and it makes a world of difference. It provides a good gripping surface without sanding off you finger and palm prints. It also has the added benefit of reducing stress to your hands by absorbing the vibrations caused by discharging the firearm.

As it should, support a store that is 2A friendly.

I ignore their silly check-in weapon at the service desk sign. Nobody at the local store has given me any trouble, even if they see I have it. There's also the issue that it is the only large sporting goods store in the area where I live. Some things I can only get there, if I can't wait for it to be shipped.
