I am currently looking into a chest rig/load bearing vest. Anyone out there have any comments, suggestions, ideas, thoughts, and or past experiences with one?

There are a lot of rigs on the market. More than likely you will have to try a couple out to find out what works for you. As we all have different needs, and different body sizes and strength, its hard to fin a "one type fits most". I would recommend the more minimal approach as better. Most people that end up with a rig with lots of MOLLE tend to hang on way too much stuff. I like the old ALICE system myself for some of my setups. Check out this link for 'battle belts', a great minimalist approach a lot of guys are going to.

I have a Condor model rig for carrying plates... Front/Rear/Side plates are 21 lbs. of weight. I like the Condor rig cause it is comfortable for me.

Not yet... Still watching my pricing. I have all the parts pricing and vendors setup on a XL spreadsheet while I watch the pricing.
