Who reloads, what do you reload and what do you reload on? I reload trap shells rem hulls with fig 8 wads about 1 1/8 ounce of lead with green dot powder. Skeet shells win AA hulls WA1112 wads 1 ounce if lead with 700x. 16 gauge. Fiocchi hills BP SL wads 1ounce with green dot. Thinking about moving away from green dot on the 16 though. I have 3 seperate Lee load. Alls.
I also have a rifle press to do 8x56r if I ever get around. To it.

I use a Lee Loadmaster progressive press. It's a cheaper progressive loader, but being new to reloading, didn't want to to go with some of the higher end unit's and Midway was blowing these out last year for $119 bucks with a set of 223 dies. Haven't reloaded yet since I couldn't find any powder until recently.

The Loadmaster is well built for the price but when setting it up and calibrating the rig, the casing loader (the part that pushes in the casing into the turret) is poorly designed. It's way to short in height and would not consistently feed the brass. Really annoying!

Ending up redesigning the part in CAD and 3d printing the part which resolved the issue.

Looking forward to doing my first load shortly.

I reload on a Lee classic turret press. I have dies for .38, .357, .25-20, .45 colt, but I've been doing mainly 9mm right now. I use whatever pistol powder I can find and right now I have Clays and Power Pistol. I've been using up the 115 gr Hi Tek coated RN bullets I ordered from ACME but my next order will be the 124 gr and 147 gr that I like better. Range brass and CCI small pistol primers though I just picked up some S&B primers too. I'm not set on any favorite recipe as I'm still trying out different bullets, powders, etc. I'm shooting more because of reloading but I'm also spending more time reloading too keep up. Time to start thinking about a progressive press.

One thing with the Lee classic turret press, like 140DB mentioned, some parts are plastic so you should keep spares on hand.

I ran into Lynn at Cabela's not long ago and while we were looking at the lack of pistol powders he reminded me that Delavan Sportsmen's Club is a good source for shotgun powders.

I too have been thinking of getting a progressive press and retiring the green rock chucker I inherited. But not sure if I reload enough to justify it or what I would replace it with...

Lee estimates you can load up to 250 rds an hour on the turret press I have. I'm not in that ballpark yet but even then that covers a week or two. I reload in my garage and I want to build up more of an inventory for over the winter.
