If we move the border of South California above LA and give South Ca to Mexico then we solve 20% of our nations problems.

Lets see... 6 mini California would change the senate count to 110. Depending on the map, if 6 went democrat, and 4 republican the democrats would gain a net of 2 seats. The house would not change. The number in the Electoral College would change by 10 votes. But it would help republicans by splitting up California's vote.

Isn't San Diego conservative?

I agree on one point that smaller government works better. But as has been pointed out, what about the senate and house? What about the electoral college?

British Gunner, The house would remain unchanged. The Senate would increase by 10 votes, but likely a 60-40 split. The electoral college would expand by 10 votes as well (from 538, 270 needed to elect, to 548, 275 needed to elect). Electoral college votes equal 435 Representatives, plus 100 Senators, plus DC's 3 votes, currently.

But who would want Chicago? And with such a large percentage of parasites and no host to feed off of, what would happen?

Maybe they would turn on themselves and feed off of each other which would eventually cause a melt down? Or maybe they would join forces and start to invade neighboring areas and cause more damage than good. The Law of Causality.

Hmmm...my first thought was of our flag....55 stars? I guess we could fit 'em in somewhere. ;)
Then my suspicion set in....a venture capitalist pushing this forward? Sounds fishy to me, as he must stand to gain some mega financial gain somehow.

Interesting idea.

Illinois, let's try. Let Chicago suck itself into a black hole and the rest of Illinois can move on.
