A couple hundred moons ago (about age 11-12), I got dad's single barrel 12 gauge and went duck hunting. After a couple of hours and wet from the waist down, I headed to the house. Between me and the house was an electric fence. The post were about 200 feet apart , so I decided to use the gun butt and push the wire down. Great! Step over with one leg and began to bring the other (left) leg over, when the wire slipped off of the gun and caught me up. The controller fired and I hit the ground. In slow motion, I watched the wire go about 6 feet high and hit the leg a second time. Then the wire returned and hit the right leg. From this point the wire was in fast forward and my escape was in almost stop and go motion.
