Maybe check out bass or gander mountain about the class if red dot doesn't have one. Deer and turkeys you can go to the Illinois dept in charge of hunting. And see the region's and the dates on public lands. Private places can be pricey. There are some good guided hunts for upland birds and ducks/geese. You may want to go with a guide first time. Learn alot, they probably have a lot if gear

You live in Wisconsin, correct? I believe you can take part of the course online and then go to a DNR field day. http://dnr.wi.gov/education/outdoorskill...ation.html

If you're bird hunting and don't have a dog, the cost of a guide with dogs will be very fulfilling and hook you on bird hunting for life.

I was looking to go to blonhaven his year maybe. If some on would be interested in splitting the cost of a dog and guide I would be good for that.

You can go into the DNR website and it'll give you the dates for the ones in your district then call and get enrolled but the sooner the better they usually fill up pretty quick brother. All I had to take to mine was my drivers license all other materials were provided
