Sporting Clays at McMiller's is .35 a clay and is separate from the range fees. There are 10 stations with two flight paths on each. You can send one clay at a time or two. So if you did only the 2 each station that is $7, but you will most likely do more. My last time there I shot 48 shells.
If you want one closer the Richmond Hunting Club ( http://www.richmondhuntclub.com/content/...x?tabid=55 ) in Richmond, IL (about 10 miles west of Antioch) has a public course. I have not been there, but the basic price on the website says 50 clays for $35 which is .70, so twice that of McMiller's, but it is 40 miles closer. . I don't believe they have a public shooting range.
