Mosin 91/30 scope - ssphoto - 12-01-2014
Hi all,
I have a full size scope on my Mosin currently but that hasn't worked out too well. I was thinking at some point replacing it with an actual scope that has the historic design specs as the original.

I thought I had mine figured out last fall but I have slept since then. My Mosin had the straight bolt handle so I cut it off, drilled and tapped the bolt body. I cut the ball off the end of the handle and smoothed it out before drilling and tapping it. And then threaded both ends of a bolt (the wrench on kind), bent it and screwed it into the bolt body with the ball on the end.
All that remains is to solder it solid. Now I am going to have to go stare at it for a while and remember what it was i was going to do for a scope.
