So has anyone taken any game yet this season? Either with gun or bow?
I took a doe last night with my bow. First deer in a few years. I passed on a small buck right before the doe came in too.

I prefer hunting at Walmart, only because it's in my backyard..
Fergus you have plans to make any jerky? Lol my friends little brother did that last year and it was pretty bomb... But either way congrats! That's always exciting

Not a big jerky fan. Much rather have sticks. Took her over to a buddy that is a butcher and he is going to make me a bunch of different things.

For me since my buddy does it not a thing but maybe a few beers!!! I had it done once at the Grainery in Antioch and I think after I got some sausages, steaks, roasts and some ground I think I ended up spending about $90. Prices can really vary just depending on what you want done with the meat.
