Welp, I purchased a new CZ 527 carbine. It comes with a single 5 round magazine. It is chambered in Russian 7.62x39mm. First thing I have done is to have a Skinner rear peep sight installed. The front post is red fiber optics. I cleaned it, and put some diamond oil on the bolt and worked it about 50 times. Didn't really feel rough, but I have a better feel for it now. I took it to the range and fired about 35 rounds through it. Seems like a tack driver. I had 2 sub 1.5 inch groups at 100 yds with irons! I think this will be a great Hog rifle. I think the quality on the rifle is outstanding for machining, fit and finish. RECOMMENDED!

No, that is why I added the Peep Sight. It is light, handy, and so easy to get a sight picture. It seems extremely accurate, and I think it will drop any critter under 200 yds with ease. I might at some point add a red dot, but as of now, no plans to do so.
