I noticed in the "Brand Specific" that you do not have Steyr Arms listed. Just came across the M-A1 Pistol and the S-A1 Pistol. Of course there is no place in my little town that sells them. But I really want to get my hands on one. From what I have watched and read, I may even put this purschae ahead of my FN purchase.
Anyone out there have one and want to share some knowledge?

I'd love to see the Triangle sights in my hand. That could be an interesting idea.

I don't own one but a buddy of mine has a couple of different Steyrs, he collects them, and they're all good shooters. They can be hard to find locally, which is why I don't have one, and their magazines can get into the Sig and HK price range.

Yeah, I checked around here yesterday and could not find one anywhere. I would have to schedule a showing with Steyr with dealer nearby.
I watched plenty of videos on the Steyr pistols yesterday and really reaLLY REALLY want one.
But with 1300 in repairs to my Ford Ranger, I will have to drool a little longer.

If any of shops in your area have a website that's part of the Gearfire network, you should be able to order one through them. I just checked the site for the LGS I go to the most, and are a member of that network, and they have a bunch of different Steyrs listed as being available in the $441-502 price range. I don't know if Red Dot would frown on it or I'd post a link to their Steyr page for you.

Thank you for the heads up. The one shop that I normally do not go to because of the pricing and limited stock on hand, is a member of Gearfire. I am on vacation this week and helping with the installation of windows and finish trim at my sons house, so this morning before I head up there I will make a slight detour to Waldrons and see if they have it in stock.
Thanks again.

If you know their website, you can order from there and have it delivered to the store. The LGS I go to doesn't charge shipping or transfer fees, when having it delivered to them. Check out the store's info on their page and I'll bet, as they're part of that network, that the same would apply. The one problem I would see is if you qualify for a military, LEO, or vet discount. In that case, you would have to get them to order it, which is the issue I have with ordering from the LGS website, but you can still see what they have available.

Thank you for the assistance. I just visited both of the local Gearfire stores and ordered a M-A1 from one of them. My wife said "Happy Birthday". It should show up Monday or Tuesday.
The first LGS wanted 497 and the second LGS wanted 460 and both had no cost shipping. With the savings I can order a new Vedder Holster. Neither one of them had one in stock. What was funny was that the first LGS was not aware of who Gearfire was until I pointed out to him that at the bottom of their gun website it says "a Member of Gearfire". He just thought it was his website.
