Went out for my third time shooting trap. Worst I've ever done, about 10% hits. Disappointing. I remember Steve's comment about not getting discouraged. I look forward to some good personal training when the opportunity presents itself.

Have you pattern your gun? Also the worst thing you can do is worry about how bad you are shooting. Each clay is its own shot

Not sure what "pattern my gun" is. If we're still meeting up this Saturday at McHenry, you can perhaps educate me on that. Let me know if you still plan on going. I believe I had 11AM set on my calendar.

Yep I am still down. If they have a patterning board there we will do that. It's a way to tell where your gun shoots. I would bring some extra shells with you as well for the board.

They do, it is in the back outside the office.
