I know a bunch of people just got done with the shotgun class. Didn't know if any one wanted to go to Bristol and shoot some clays in the next few weeks
Girlfriend is so anxious to get out and shoot clays for the first time! She already wants to join a league! Let's figure out a time to go!
Let me knew when you guys are thinking and I'll see if I can make it!
I can do the 1st but I would prefer the weekend of the 8 9. Noon is good for me, or later
Weekend of the 8th and 9th might work. I know I can't do the weekend before or this weekend. I will find out and let you guys know.
I could do the 8th easily. The 9th might work... But idk
I am cool with the 8th. Fergus are you good with that? Is noon good for you guys

Think that should work for me. I will check with TFarrell to see if she is available to go. Should be a good time! Looking forward to it!
Cool good to hear, this should be a good time
Talked to TFarrell and it looks like we are a go. Any interest in McMillers instead of Bristol though?
Sure I haven't shot there before, but they have sporting clays which is something I want to do
Will have to check but think pricing is better and I want to hit the pistol range for awhile after.

Not if you become a member Thumbs up
Sporting Clays at McMiller's is .35 a clay and is separate from the range fees. There are 10 stations with two flight paths on each. You can send one clay at a time or two. So if you did only the 2 each station that is $7, but you will most likely do more. My last time there I shot 48 shells.

If you want one closer the Richmond Hunting Club ( http://www.richmondhuntclub.com/content/...x?tabid=55 ) in Richmond, IL (about 10 miles west of Antioch) has a public course. I have not been there, but the basic price on the website says 50 clays for $35 which is .70, so twice that of McMiller's, but it is 40 miles closer. Smile. I don't believe they have a public shooting range.
Thanks for the heads up how do you pay for it than? If it's buy the clay
I thought at McMillers you provide your own clays. When I went a few weeks ago to check it out people were bringing boxes of clays with them.
You bring your own clays to the skeet range.

I was talking about the Sporting Clay course. They give you a key that you put in at each station. Then you select if you want one or two and hit enter. The clays come out. When you are done you bring them the key and it shows how many you used.

Here it is.

Cool thanks, for the heads up
We didn't walk back to that part of the range when we went and visited a few weeks ago. Looking at that I now wish that we would have. That looks pretty cool in the woods like that!
I went and played some skeet today to get ready for next week. So far jfurgus, his gf. Ringo are you still in? And are there any other interested parties
