She shoots great! Fitted out with a GG&G side rail scope mount, Vortex 30mm one piece scope mount, and a Vortex 6-24x50mm Vplex (MOA) scope. The GG&G scope mount I highly recommend for the AK platform. Makes the Midwest Industries scope mount look like junk in comparison.
I don't know how I missed this thread until now. The base Vepr rifles do have nice walnut furniture on them. A buddy of mine gave his .308 model, which was paler in color than the one pictured, a nice red tint. As for the optics mount, RS Regulate also has some very nice ones for AK and RPK rifles.
Welp, after a few trips to the range, I am making some changes to how this rifle is scoped. I am replacing the single mount with more traditional medium rings to lower the scope, as getting a decent cheek weld is difficult. I will post a new picture when done, and yet you know what I think after a couple range trips.
