Legion USA is the first vendor I've seen the new wave of them being carried.

Here's the ones in .308:

They had the 7.62x39mm and they sold out in less than 2 hours apparently. They're selling the .308 for 849.00+s/h if anyone is interested.
I'm heading to Vegas next week for March Madness... If I bring back money, this sure looks sweet...
OK, I pulled the trigger and purchased the VEPR in 7.62x54R. I will take it to McMiller this weekend. She sure looks great, and of surprisingly good quality.
Neat. That'll be fun to shoot! Maybe we'll cross paths up at McMillers sometime.
First impressions... much less recoil than a Mosin Nagant. Very accurate with iron sights, very well made. FUN to shoot. Didn't use any corrosive ammo. Seems to like heavier rounds. 5 round magazines are too small, need more rounds. I love the rifle, it's a keeper. Trigger was as good as I expect, considering it was upgraded. The rifle is much more capable than this shooter without a scope. Kudos to RDA for making FFL such an easy process!
Which barrel length did you get?

Nice, Atlantic is good people. I've been eyeing the one that they have with the red walnut SVD furniture and the 16" in .308 that Legion has. The next thing you should get is a Vepr 12. That's one sweet semi-auto scatter-gun. I'm going to post more pics of mine when I get the cash to finish decorating it. ;)

Nice looking rifle. I am just not a big fan of wood furniture.
